IT'S TIME FOR YOUR TRUE SELF TO LEAD
We all face challenges. When we do, it’s smart to talk with someone who will listen. You want to perform well in the daily arenas of your life — work, relationships, health, personal growth. I’m here to help you succeed.
My training has been in psychodynamic, cognitive behavioral, emotion-focused and systems-centered methods of psychotherapy. I draw upon science, perennial wisdom, and humor in my work with clients.
Mostly, I listen to what a person is saying (or trying to say) and I help them listen to themselves, to their deeper self, where most answers lie.
Sometimes it’s best to take an in-depth individual focus, sometimes couple or family counseling is best, sometimes it’s participating in a small interactive group, and sometimes it’s a combination of these. Always, a positive therapeutic relationship provides the foundation for a good outcome.
Whatever the challenge — emotional, relational, vocational, or other — we’ll address it together. We’ll pinpoint the issues, develop a plan, energize your inner resources, and guide you to achieve your goals.
It would be my honor to work with you.

"LAB FOR LIFE" GROUPS
Do you want to communicate more effectively or set better boundaries for self-care? Are you going through a transition in life and need a place to process your feelings? Do you want to learn how to better focus your energy to achieve your goals? Our Lab For Life Groups can help. Currently, we offer an Adult Empowerment Group that meets most Sunday evenings 7-8:30 pm and a Men & Alcohol Group that meets every other Tuesday 7-8:15 pm. Currently, both groups are meeting on Zoom
Sunday Evening Adult Empowerment Group
In this Group we develop our capacity to listen with interest and compassion to others and to our selves, explore what we discover, and express our voice more clearly and confidently. We typically leave the group each week feeling more connected, clear, and ready to take on the challenges in our lives.
Tuesday Evening (Bi-Weekly) Men & Alcohol Group
In this Group we give attention to our present experiences in life and notice how our use or non-use of alcohol fits in. By finding points of resonance and difference with one another, we aim to help ourselves and each other achieve our goals, especially related to alcohol and other things that addict us. Generally, we each leave feeling wiser, stronger and better able to face our personal challenges.
